Last Mile
Privacy Policy
Last Mile collects nothing. No accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, and no profile of you anywhere. It is a single-player game that runs on your device. The only way anything reaches us is if you choose to email a bug report.
What we collect
Nothing. Last Mile does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data. There are no user accounts and no sign-in. We operate no server that the game talks to, and we hold no record that you have ever played it.
Network access
The app requests the INTERNET and
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE permissions, and uses them for exactly
one thing: Google Play Billing, so that the one-time full
campaign unlock can be bought and restored. That traffic is between
your device and Google. The app contacts nothing else. Play the game
without ever buying the unlock and it never uses the network at all.
What is stored on your device
The game writes your saved campaigns, your display preference, and a yes/no flag recording whether the unlock has been bought, to app-private storage on your device. This data:
- never leaves your device;
- is not readable by other apps;
- is not backed up to any server we operate;
- is deleted in full when you uninstall the app.
You can also delete it at any time through Android's Settings → Apps → Last Mile → Storage → Clear data.
Purchases
Last Mile is free to play to the end of 1990. Opening the rest of the campaign is a single one-time purchase sold through Google Play. That purchase is handled entirely by Google: we never see your payment details, your name, or your account. All the app keeps is the local flag described above. Google's own privacy policy governs the transaction — policies.google.com/privacy.
If you report a problem
The game's menu has a Report a problem entry. It opens your own email app with a message already drafted, containing the game version, the in-game date, the size of your network and which screen you were on. You can read and edit every line before sending, and nothing is sent unless you send it. Those details carry no device identifier, no advertising id and nothing about you as a person.
If you do send it, we then hold your email address and whatever you wrote — the same as any email you send us. We use it to answer you and to fix the bug, we never add it to a mailing list, and we delete the thread once the problem is closed. Reporting a bug is entirely optional; the game is complete without it.
Children
Last Mile is not directed at children under 13, and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, export and erase personal data held about you. Unless you have emailed us, we hold nothing about you at all — the game sends us nothing, so there is nothing on our side to retrieve or erase, and uninstalling the app removes everything it has stored on yours.
If you have emailed us — a bug report, or anything else — we hold that correspondence. Write to the address below and we will send you a copy of it or delete it, as you prefer, within one month. We are the controller for that data Informaatik IKT OÜ. You also have the right to complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (aki.ee).
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the revised version will be published at this same address with a new "last updated" date.
